Double your donation with a matching gift!

Do you work for one of these companies?  If so, you can potentially double your donation for even more impact! If you are an employee at a medium to large sized company, it is very likely that your company has a matching gift program. When you donate to the PTA at Lafayette Elementary, a matching employer will then donate part or an equal amount!  Please contact your company to find out if they participate or see our full list of companies that are matching donations. Liz McArthur is our PTA Matching Funds Coordinator. She can help you facilitate the paperwork with your company to make the process simple. You can reach her by email @ agcmatching@gmail.com. Lafayette Fun Run & 5K – Sunday, September 17, 2017

Lafayette Fun Run & 5K – Sunday, September 17, 2017

Come join us for a fun, timed 5k Run/Walk on September 17, 2017, and support a nationally-recognized San Francisco public elementary school! Our fast, flat course runs through Golden Gate Park down John F Kennedy Dr. and all proceeds benefit Lafayette Elementary School. Cheer on our students as they participate in a pledge run/walk-a-thon. This upcoming school year, we are specifically raising money to support our school’s high caliber of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) academic excellence by paying for our technology teacher, outdoor science teacher, and online technology programs. Our goal is to raise at least $15,000 to fund these critical teacher positions and our online technology programs. It is our mission as a PTA to empower each child at our school to reach their academic potential and to make the educational tools they need to succeed accessible to them regardless of socioeconomic status. Elites, Weekend Warriors, Families, Strollers, and Wheelchairs are all welcome! (Dogs, however, will have to stay home for this event.) JFK is closed to cars on Sundays, so please come join us for the race and hang out afterward for a picnic, bike ride, and just general community mingling. Register & Learn More >> PRIZES: We will have prizes for the top Male and Female 5k competitor as well as the top 2 fundraisers. REGISTRATION Child Registration (Individual): $15.00 Early Registration (Individual): $25.00 WHEN:  Sunday, September 17, 2017 (On site registration opens at 7:30am.  Race starts at 8:30am.)
