Hello Lafayette Families, I would like to thank all parents and teachers for another successful conference week.   As some of you know already, it’s survey season. This is the second survey we are asking you to complete this year, and it is really important. This particular survey, the family survey (formerly the Satisfaction Survey), is part of the School Quality Improvement Index and is one way we are measuring the Culture and Climate of our school. The information collected here will be one of the data points used to evaluate Lafayette’s overall performance. The family survey is part of our District’s new accountability system to the federal government. There are no right or wrong answers to any of these questions. This survey is completely anonymous. Your voice in this survey is very important and this information is vital to help Lafayette continue moving in the right direction. Some community members already took this survey during conference week.  If you were not able to complete it, please fill out the family survey online using the following link: https://goo.gl/UkVFI5 . Finally, this is just a reminder that the SF DPT is out in full force lately.  They are responding to neighborhood complaints and recent news segments focused on double parking at Lafayette School.  DPT is now regularly ticketing cars that are double parked on Anza Street and on 37th Avenue in the afternoon. Please take the extra time at the end of the school day to find a parking spot, and then come to pick up your children.  Thank you for all your cooperation. Kindly, Heath Caceres Principal Lafayette Bulletin Spring...
