Dear Lafayette Families, Tonight is the Annual Lafayette Family Math Night.  Come see and participate in the games and activities that your child plays everyday.  Festivities begin at 6:30.  Prizes are handed out at 7:30 in the auditorium.  It always is a lot of fun.  Check attached flyer for more information.  See you there. Next week is conference week.  All students will be let out of school by 12:50 PM.  Please make sure to pick up your children on time. Supervision is difficult when all staff are in conducting conferences. Thank you for your consideration. Next week the Scholastic Book Fair comes to Lafayette.  Once you have finished your child’s conference, come visit Room B near the computer lab to pick out some great reading books for your children and family.  Proceeds help fund our Lafayette library.  We appreciate all your support. Have a great week.  Together with you in building and strengthen our already wonderful Lafayette community. Opportunity to help seniors in our neighborhood

Hi Lafayette families, As you may know the Richmond District is home to a large number of seniors and home bound residents. The Richmond District Neighborhood Center runs a weekly home delivered groceries program to those neighbors in need as an extension of their Food Pantry. We match local volunteers (that’s you!) with our home bound participants to deliver groceries right to each home. You simply pick up the free food from the pantry in our neighborhood and deliver it to your senior. Our matches are one-on-one based with the idea that volunteers and home bound participants are able to build a relationship. We work to match volunteers and seniors who live close to each other. So far this has been true! Families and seniors alike have all found this to be a rewarding experience. Want to sign up or get more information? Sign up for an informational meeting: Request more information:   Here is a video clip CBS did on the program:...
