Art in Action
Description
Lafayette parents currently teach art to grades K-3 through a program funded by the
PTA called Art in Action. There are 12 lessons for the school year that use famous
masterpieces as teaching tools. Parents lead each class and then help with set up
and clean up. This is a great way to be actively involved in your child's classroom
and interact directly with the students. An art background is NOT required.
You do not need any artistic skills to volunteer for this program. Training is
provided at the beginning of the school year.
