Description
As the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation, the PTA reminds our country of its obligations to children and provides parents and families with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child while providing the best tools for parents to help their children be successful students. This committee manages the PTA membership process at Lafayette.

Different roles needed, including services
Preparation of membership materials to be distributed when school starts, collection of all membership forms and dues, input of member info and volunteer preferences into master excel file; completion and issuance of membership cards, targeted recruitment of members during parent-teacher conference week and at other points during the year

Time commitment
Approximately 2-3 hours a week during the fall, 2 hours a month in the spring; work can be done when convenient at home
