Description
Act as liaison between the class and the teacher/PTA/school to help coordinate classroom volunteers, teacher gifts/appreciation class parties, Stop Drop and Go, events and fieldtrips.

Different roles needed, including services
The room parent will act as point contact in each classroom and will help to improve communications between the school and the individual class parents. This person will be responsible for forwarding emails to the entire class to make sure everyone is kept in the loop. They may also help to recruit volunteers for fieldtrips and programs such as Stop, Drop and Go and Art in Action. Some party coordination/teacher appreciation may also be involved.

Time commitment
5 minutes/week - 2 hours/week depending
