Welcome Message from our PTA President to YOU.

Dear Lafayette Dolphins,

On behalf of the PTA Executive Board, I would like to extend a warm welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I am thrilled to be part of this wonderful community for another year.

Lafayette Elementary has been an amazing community that I've felt blessed to be part of for the last few years. From events like Multicultural Night to Donut Dash, Field Day, and beyond, we have so many opportunities for families to jump in and help create memorable experiences for our kids while building meaningful relationships within our community. I also recognize that many families have limited time — please know that any amount of time or financial support you're able to give is so appreciated by the students, teachers, and staff alike. We're truly stronger together.

As many of you are aware, district budget cuts over recent years have required a sharp increase in our community fundraising to preserve essential roles and programs at Lafayette. To keep these vital resources in place, we invite all families to support our Annual Giving Campaign (AGC). We kindly ask that parents consider donating $150/month (or $1,800 for the year), though one-time gifts of any size or smaller monthly pledges directly fuel student success and help us reach our 100% participation goal. Your support funds key staff—including our STEAM instructor, Assistant Principal, Librarian, and English Language Development Specialist—as well as 100% of student field trips, classroom supplies, and community events.
