The PTA is a collaborative effort between parents and teachers to support the educational and developmental needs of all our children. We promote the safety and welfare of our children at home, at school, and in the community. Participation in our PTA not only has practical benefits, but also sends a powerful message to our kids that their education is so important that we actively participate and support their school in whatever way is needed.

Donate
Your donation allows the PTA to work with the school administration, teachers, and parents to identify the best ways to supplement our children’s education at Lafayette. Our role is primarily to strengthen our family engagement at school and to promote academic success.
Spread the Word
While we do fundraise to provide each student with the best educational experience at Lafayette, our focus is to build up our community with activities and events which empower our families to get involved. Our Annual Give Campaign is the biggest way you can help promote.
Join THE PTA
Anyone can be a part of the Lafayette PTA including Lafayette parents, grandparents, friends and students! We work together to help build community through sponsoring events and raising money that goes directly to the school to help enrich the community and educational experience at Lafayette.
Volunteer
A great way to get to know other families and teachers at Lafayette is to come to and volunteer at our community building school events and programs. There are so many fun events and important volunteer positions that require the whole village to pitch in and help.
Don’t know where to start?
Come to a PTA sponsored event/mixer or join us at the monthly meeting. Whether you want to start a new enrichment program at the school or have a fantastic new project for the kinders, all ideas are welcome and encouraged.
